a few things to consider, will you let self-registering users post automatically to the front page? or let certain people you trust have those perms, and not others? or, have 1 or a few admins decide on each one? you probably don't want people to be able to post php either, just the two html options for the blog content type. otherwise, one could turn this into a spam machine.

This is an initial post to get the ball rolling.

Boy, the editing options on Drupal are quite nice, and the default layout easy to understand. I like this platform a lot -- and I haven't even started looking at the modules yet.
